1、 Preparation before cleaning

Power off operation

Ensure that the light strip is powered off, unplug the power plug or close the main switch to prevent the risk of electric shock.

Wait for the light strip to cool down to room temperature (if it has just been used) to prevent high temperatures from causing the cleaning agent to evaporate quickly or burn out.

Select cleaning items

Soft fabric: fiber cloth, eyeglass cloth or non-woven fabric (to prevent shedding or scratching the surface).

Cleaning agent:

Mild stains: Clean water or diluted neutral detergent (1:10 ratio).

Stubborn stains: specialized electronic device cleaner (alcohol free, non corrosive).

Auxiliary items: cotton swab (for cleaning gaps), soft bristled brush (for dust removal), hair dryer (in cool air form, optional).

Environmental preparation

Operate in a dry and dust-free environment to prevent dust from reattaching during the cleaning process.

2、 Cleaning process

1. Start dust removal

Dry cloth scrubbing: Use a dry fiber cloth to quietly scrub the surface of the light strip, removing floating dust and loose stains.

Soft bristle brush cleaning: Use a soft bristle brush (such as an old toothbrush) to gently brush the gaps and heat dissipation holes of the light strip to prevent dust accumulation from affecting heat dissipation.

2. Deep cleaning

Dilute cleaner: Mix neutral detergent with water in a 1:10 ratio and mix evenly.

Wet cloth scrubbing:

Soak the fabric and wring it dry until it does not drip.

Gently scrub along the length of the light strip to prevent back and forth collisions that may cause static electricity to adsorb dust.

Key points include cleaning stubborn stains such as oil stains and fingerprints, with slight force but without excessive pressure.

Cotton swab cleaning: Dip a cotton swab in a small amount of cleaning agent to clean the subtle gaps at the edges or junctions of the light strip.

3. Boring processing

Drying: Place the light strip in a well ventilated area to dry, preventing direct sunlight from causing aging.

Cool breeze assistance: If you need to speed up the dryness, you can use a hair dryer to cool the air at long intervals (intervals ≥ 30cm).

4. Viewing and powering on

After the light strip becomes dry, check if there are any residual water stains or cleaning agents on the surface.

Connect the power supply from the beginning and test whether the light strip lights up normally without flickering.
